Nova’s Training provides assistive technology education and tutoring services for blind and visually-impaired individuals, educators, and organizations. Our services include:

  • One-on-one assistive technology tutoring (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, and related tools)
  • Training for educators and rehabilitation professionals
  • Professional development and accessibility workshops for employers
  • Software setup, troubleshooting, and technical support

All training sessions are conducted remotely via online web conferencing applications or phone.

2. Booking and Scheduling

Sessions may be booked through our website or by contacting us directly. By booking a session, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact information
  • Be available at the scheduled time
  • Give at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel

3. Payment Terms

Payment for paid sessions is processed securely through PayPal. By purchasing our services, you agree to the following:

  • Payment is due at the time of booking or upon receipt of invoice
  • All fees are listed in US dollars
  • Free consultations carry no payment obligation

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that schedules change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • More than 24 hours notice: Full refund or reschedule at no charge
  • Less than 24 hours notice: Session may be forfeited or a rescheduling fee may apply
  • No-shows: No refund will be issued

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case a full refund or rescheduled session will be offered.

5. User Responsibilities

When using our services, you agree to:

  • Treat the instructor and any other participants with respect
  • Use the training for lawful, personal, or professional development purposes only
  • Not record, distribute, or reproduce session content without written permission
  • Ensure you have the necessary equipment (computer, phone, internet connection) to participate

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and training materials, is the property of Nova’s Training and is protected by copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written consent.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. While we strive to deliver high-quality, effective training, we do not guarantee specific outcomes or results. Technology proficiency depends on many factors, including individual effort and practice outside of sessions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nova’s Training and its owner, Nem Novakovic, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services or website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
